BRIEF CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr. D. G. Vijay M.S., M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) is a senior consultant – Breast cancer & Thoracic cancer Services at HCG Cancer Centre, Ahmedabad and a member of Aastha Oncology Associates. After completing his graduation (M.B.B.S.) from B.J. Medical. College, he did his post-graduation (M.S.) from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College. He did his super specialization (M.Ch.) from B.J. Medical College (Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute).
He pursued his keen interest during his M.S. and M.Ch. days.
He is trained at the Memorial Sloan – Kettering Cancer Center for Breast reconstruction. He has also attended workshops at European Institute of Oncology, Milan and Royal College of Surgeons-England.
He has popularized various surgeries like breast conservation surgery and breast reconstruction by Latissimus dorsi flap, TRAM flap and implants. He is a recognized speaker and panelist in state, national and international conferences.
